Fátima Toledo is the first and most respected acting coach in Brazil and one of the best in the world. She is the creator of an exclusive Approach for acting, known as the FT approach, used in the film industry for over 40 years. In all those projects Fátima coached the ensemble cast and supporting actors in an intensive trainning that varies from 2 to 8 weeks, 6 to 8 hours a day, 6 days a week.
Her approach to the actor's craft and preparation of the ensemble cast helped the movies she worked in to win over 511 awards (Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Chicago, Guadalajara, Havana, Gramado, Rio, São Paulo, Brasília) Including 2 Golden Globes and have other 348 nominations in prestigious National and International film festivals including 6 Oscar nominations (Central of Brasil and City of God).
I've been working with Fátima and with her approach system for over 14 years. After studying for 5 years as an actor in her studio in Sao Paulo, BRA, I started teaching and helped hundreds of actors and non-actors to develop their craft and humanity. Coaching, writing, cinematographing, art directing, directing, and editing several scenes, actors' reels, and short movies of the Studio Classes.
